I meant for this to be my November giveaway, but somehow it’s December already! This is the third installment of my “just for fun” book + soap (plus other stuff sometimes) giveaways. In honor of my new granddaughter, Elsie Amalthea, whose middle name is for the unicorn in The Last Unicorn, (affiliate link) I’m giving a copy away this month (it’s new because I couldn’t find it at my used bookstore) along with a bar of peppermint goat’s milk soap, and tins of calendula salve and my new lip balm.
For your chance to win, simply leave a comment on this post. I will use good old-fashioned random number generator to choose a winner on Tuesday, December 5th. The winner will be announced within this post and notified via email. Because of the prohibitive cost of international shipping, this giveaway is only open to U.S. residents. However, last time a few who live outside of U.S. asked if you could enter and then pay shipping costs if you win. Yes, that is fine!
*** Comments are now closed and the winner is Jodi. Thanks, everyone!
ALSO: Keats made some really gorgeous live edge cherry cutting boards while he was home for Thanksgiving and they are listed in my shop. I’ve also listed my last two batches of soap for the year and there are two new headscarf colors because I decided I wanted to over dye some of my existing colors. It’s just too fun to play with natural dyes! My scarves are almost sold out, but there are still quite a few colors available. Right now there are also plenty of my salves and lip balm and a bit of wood sealer as well. 🙂

I would love to win this one, it snowed for the first time here yesterday, so I’m needing something good to read! I am enjoying seeing your posts again! Your friend you don’t know, Melanie
Your scarves are lovely! I i have one I bought four years ago and still use it.
A new granddaughter!! How wonderful!!
Congratulations on your granddaughter! We have a 6, 4, and 10 week old, and they are so fun to get hugs and loves from. She will grow up way too fast. Thank you for the opportunity to win this generous giveaway and I hope you have a merry and blessed Christmas with your beautiful family.

Congratulations GRANDMA! 😉
This looks like a fun book (we’re always looking for a new read aloud!). And your granddaughter’s name is beautiful! ❤️
I have always loved this story. I saw the animated version when I was young. When I was a little girl my grandfather used to pretend to be the Red Bull so I could be the brave last unicorn.
As an adult I’ve still never read the book and I would love to remedy that.
The items in your shop are gorgeous! And congratulations on becoming a grandmother!
Just received my first tin of your calendula salve which came in the nick of time. middle school art teacher here doing clay portraits with my 8th graders. Hands are so sore and dired o ut. I’ve been using the calendula salve non-stop and it really helps. Love that it goes on slick and gets absorbed quickly to ease the dryness and pain.
Please pick me it’s going to be a long winter.
Congratulations on your new granddaughter, her name is beautiful!
I’ve always heard you speak very highly of The Last Unicorn on your blog, and I’ve always wanted to try your handmade lip-balms!

Haven’t read this book but would like to win it and read. Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family. I’ve read your blog since Silas was a baby.😊
This is so much fun! I’ve never read The Last Unicorn, but am adding it to my list.
You and your family make such beautiful things! I love Elsie’s name. It has a beautiful ring to it.
What a beautiful name for your new Granddaughter! And for her to live so close is such a blessing!!!!
I used your chrism salve last night on my poor, split winter finger. If I remember to use it on the tips it definitely helps relieve it.
Would love to win this month’s giveaway as I haven’t read the book and always love your soaps & obviously salves & scarves!
Ooooh, I love his writing. Brings me back to a time when the language we used was so rich and expressive ❤️
I have really been wanting to read this!
Also, I just wanted to say how much I love my indigo kercheif. I wear it all the time and though it is so lightweight it actually keeps my neck warm. I wear it cowboy style. I love your calendula salve as well. I actually used it as a lip balm and salve above my upper lip after we had a terrible 2 week cold (covid?) go through our house and my lips were raw and dry. Lovely products Ginny!
I watched the last unicorn as a movie, I think I would like to read the book regardless of if I win. Congrats on your new grand baby!
What a fabulous giveaway! Thank you for your kindness to others!
I really like your post and your soap 🙂 I have not read the book you’re giving away and would like a copy to read and share.
