Ambrose Benedict Reed was born last week via c-section. He is our smallest baby yet, weighing 7lbs 9 oz at birth. He is so precious and loved and we are all grateful that he is here in our arms now. This recovery has been more difficult than my c-section with Mabel, but I am okay. I have been struggling with migraine headaches since coming home from the hospital (thankfully, not the spinal kind) and they have me feeling pretty poorly, though each day seems a little better. I will share more soon, but wanted you all to know that he is here!
Congratulations. What a beautiful baby surrounded by a loved filled family.
many blessings to you, your little one and to your family! I am glad all is well and you took the time to let us know Ambrose is here 🙂
Congratulations!! Welcome to your lovely family, little Ambrose! Wishing you all, and especially you after giving birth, a very special first few weeks together all. Wishing you too a smooth post-partum, and a beautiful connection with your new son.

Awwww….Ginny, this post brought tears to my eyes! I haven’t had much time for my old hobby of blog reading recently, but my littlest child (now almost 9!) and I spent a few minutes scrolling through your recent posts just now. I started reading your blog back when Beatrix was the little baby, and (I think) Larkspur was 5. I think I had originally found you through a comment you’d posted on the old Soulmama blog. My kids and your kids are all so grown up now, but your photos of your children still in the sweet, fun childhood ages make me so nostalgic! Those days felt so long and tiring at the time, but in memory they are so sweet. Please rest up and enjoy your newest little one! He looks so alert already.
I just love the expression of your son who is wearing a grey long sleeve t-shirt; his name is slipping me at the moment. He is looking upon his baby brother with such delight, pride, and tenderness; it makes me a bit teary. Life is beautiful.
Congratulations Ginny! What an adorable addition to your already beautiful family ❤️
Congratulations! So happy all is well! ❤️🙏🏻
