A Giveaway from The Sitting Tree

Today’s giveaway is from The Sitting Tree.  I asked shop owners Liz and Mike to share a little about themselves and their small family business:

We are Liz and Mike, a pair of soon to be off grid homesteaders, living in the northwoods of Wisconsin. We share our life with a trio of wildly creative and beautiful unschooled boys, an English Setter called Bailey, and a reclusive black cat who wandered into the house a few years ago and never left.

In the shop you’ll find an ever changing variety of natural, sustainable products including our homemade soaps, tree branch buttons and ornaments, upcycled clothing, knitting patterns and hand dyed yarns.

If you’d like to join us for stories about creating, homeschooling, and our journey to homesteading, you can join us on our blog: The Sitting Tree.

For today’s giveaway, Liz and Mike are giving away one set of wool dryer balls in natural colors to one winner.   If you aren’t familiar with wool dryer balls, here’s a little bit of information:

Wool dryer balls are a non~toxic & safe alternative to toxic dryer sheets, fabric softeners, and other plastic dryer balls.  They really do work!  Here are just a few of the benefits of natural Wool Dryer Balls: *Natural Fabric Softener, *Non~toxic, *Reduces wrinkles, *Eliminates static cling {this was a big one for us, and it really works!!}, *Quiet while tumbling, *Cuts drying time in half by absorbing all of the moisture from the clothing, *Fun & Safe toy for babies and pets, *Safe for all cloth diapers. {The waxy residue from fabric softeners and dryer sheets will decrease absorbency of diapers}

In addition, you can use the coupon code: SMALLTHINGS for 15% off of everything in the shop through the end of February.

For your chance to win, simply leave a comment on this post.  Comments will close and a winner will be chosen on Monday, February 25th.  The winner will be announced within this post.

Comments are closed, and the winner is Georgia:  “Just love  everything  you make and  feel excited for your family to enjoy a creative life off the grid.”

Thank you Liz and Mike and The Sitting Tree!
