Today’s giveaway is from The Sitting Tree. I asked shop owners Liz and Mike to share a little about themselves and their small family business:

We are Liz and Mike, a pair of soon to be off grid homesteaders, living in the northwoods of Wisconsin. We share our life with a trio of wildly creative and beautiful unschooled boys, an English Setter called Bailey, and a reclusive black cat who wandered into the house a few years ago and never left.
In the shop you’ll find an ever changing variety of natural, sustainable products including our homemade soaps, tree branch buttons and ornaments, upcycled clothing, knitting patterns and hand dyed yarns.
If you’d like to join us for stories about creating, homeschooling, and our journey to homesteading, you can join us on our blog: The Sitting Tree.
For today’s giveaway, Liz and Mike are giving away one set of wool dryer balls in natural colors to one winner. If you aren’t familiar with wool dryer balls, here’s a little bit of information:
Wool dryer balls are a non~toxic & safe alternative to toxic dryer sheets, fabric softeners, and other plastic dryer balls. They really do work! Here are just a few of the benefits of natural Wool Dryer Balls: *Natural Fabric Softener, *Non~toxic, *Reduces wrinkles, *Eliminates static cling {this was a big one for us, and it really works!!}, *Quiet while tumbling, *Cuts drying time in half by absorbing all of the moisture from the clothing, *Fun & Safe toy for babies and pets, *Safe for all cloth diapers. {The waxy residue from fabric softeners and dryer sheets will decrease absorbency of diapers}
In addition, you can use the coupon code: SMALLTHINGS for 15% off of everything in the shop through the end of February.
For your chance to win, simply leave a comment on this post. Comments will close and a winner will be chosen on Monday, February 25th. The winner will be announced within this post.
Comments are closed, and the winner is Georgia: “Just love everything you make and feel excited for your family to enjoy a creative life off the grid.”
Thank you Liz and Mike and The Sitting Tree!

Love,

P.S. We actually don’t have a dryer, but I’d love to give those wool dryer balls to my mom or sister if I won because I know they would love them. Thanks again!

How innovative! I love what you do.
I haven’t used dryer sheets or liquid softener in years. I currently use plastic balls in the dryer but I would love to try the Wool Dryer Balls. I’ll pass on the information to all my family and friends!
I’m always excited to find a new blog to read! And I have been interested in trying out dryer balls for a while, but they always manage to fall the the bottom of the to-do list.
I stopped using fabric softener because the ingredients gross me out – never heard of wool dryer balls but I would love to try them!
Yes please!!!
What an ace company, they sound very lovely. And the tumble dryer balls would be a nice treat for your laundry….
I would love to try these! They look awesome and I would love to ditch the dryer sheets!
I had no idea a wool ball would work all those wonders… I would love to try them!
Thank you, Ginny, for hosting this – I learn something every time I stop by…
Never heard of wool dryer balls and I love the idea! I first tried dryer balls years back with a pair of those blue plastic(?) ones and only one remains and it’s lost most of it’s “pokey things” so I’m due for something new!
Thought about making some of these, but winning would be better.
Never heard of these. Now I want one. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
This would be neat! If I don’t win a set, I may just have to buy a set!
Yes please! I’m counting the days until we can use our clothesline again, but these would be perfect for the winter!
Neat! I love the ideas of these. Thanks for sharing:)
We use the sun in the summer but when it is cold outside the dryer gets well used. What a great eco – alternative! My dryer needs a little help (even after two house calls). I bet these dryer balls would be the sweet and simple answer! Thank you for sharing. I’m glad I stumbled by!
Beautiful products! I especially like the tree branch buttons.
I’d love to give them a try!
Never tried wool dryer balls! They look cool!
Never participated in a giveaway before! These would be great to have!
Would love to try these!
