I believe that when you slow down and savor the small things, you don’t have to wish for a different life; you can discover beauty in the life you already have. {Find out more here...}

    I'm still praying for Moses and am a little disappointed that he is not bouncing right back. Personally, I'm glad to hear that you may have disturbed the good doctor's sleep. Serves him right for not being better prepared himself and not preparing you as he should have. Now I will be extra prayerful with the "bug" as Moses doesn't need to do any coughing right now. He might rip out a stitch and on top of that, it's going to make the entire area work harder than it needs to work for his healing process. And in case they didn't tell you; if he does do some coughing or sneezing or laughing, have him clutch a pillow to his belly and he can stabilize the entire area himself. Makes it so much less painful for him. And he's in charge of the amount of bracing and support he needs. Poor kid! Keep shoving the pills down him ASAP. If it says "every 4 hours" give it to him at 4 hours, don't wait for him to tell you he's in pain. Because by that time, he's going to be really hard to manage. You need to be assertive and get on top of his pain first. Then begin to lighten up. Please tell Moses that I'm praying for him all the way from California. If you have an atlas, you can show him our county (Calaveras) just east of Stockton in the foothills or as some people say, "the mountains!"The 49er Gold Rush you studied in school are all up here. Gee, I wish there were some way to just call you and talk to you on the phone. And goodness, don't let me forget Larkspur. She looks like she really doesn't feel 100% in that photo. That's one good thing about kids: they tend to heal and mend more quickly. I noticed all the coughing and sneezing and sniffing during church this morning. Everyone has someone close to them who is ill with what ever it is that's going around.It's wonderful having my email up and running again. I was stuck without email for almost a week! I think I was beginning to have withdrawal effects. No email; no communication. Take care!My hubby finally got some ambien to help him sleep. He's in so much pain that he hasn't had a good night's sleep for months until Fri night when he got the RX filled. He has an appt to see the spine specialist on May 24th which was the earliest he could be worked in.It was snowing quite heavily when I left church this morning. I'm glad we don't get too much of that.And I forgot my quiet time this morning so I'm going to go sit on the couch and spend some time with the Lord tonight before going to bed. You guys all hang in there and our prayers are all prayed before you're even aware of them.
