Jonny and I escaped to the used book store recently so I have a giveaway for you! I found a pretty copy of Brideshead Revisited (affiliate link) and I would love to send it to one of you along with a bar of chrism essence goat’s milk soap and a tube of vanilla bean lip balm. (See the original giveaway post for more information on my series of book + soap giveaways.)
For your chance to win, simply leave a comment on this post. I will use good old-fashioned random number generator to choose a winner on Monday, March 25th. The winner will be announced within this post and notified via email. Because of the prohibitive cost of international shipping, this giveaway is only open to U.S. residents. However, last time a few who live outside of U.S. asked if you could enter and then pay shipping costs if you win. Yes, that is fine!
Comments are closed and the winner is Lynette!
I love all your products and look forward to your blog posts.
What a fun giveaway – I’ve never read this book.
Your posts are always so serene and full of goodness, truth and beauty. Thank you! I have never read Brideshead Revisited but would love to read it for the first time with a charming copy from a used bookstore!
What a lovely hellebores! And very much would love to included in your giveaway. 😊
Hi Ginny! I love your family, from afar, and always look forward to you seeing your photos and your life.
I’ve always heard about Brideshead Revisited and you have intrigued me to read it. This may be the year!
You also inspire me to be a better person and mother, and knitter….
Thank you for being you.
Ginny, your whole life exudes generosity, like this sweet giveaway. I’d love to read the book and enjoy your creations!
Ooooh, I’d like to win this ❤️! Thanks for a great giveaway (I’m especially excited about the soap 🤗).
Wow! This is amazing! Thank you for this opportunity.
I am super excited about this giveaway! I love your beautiful pictures as well. It is always a delight to get your posts. It’s a very special treat in the day!
Thank you for the chance to win. You are so generous!
Thanks so much for the giveaway. Aren’t “escapes to the used bookstore” wonderful? There’s a store in our town that has everything from coffee to toys to books new and used. The used section is tucked away quite charmingly and invitingly out of the main fray, and it’s so nice to get “lost” meandering through the old shelves.
Really interested in this book!
What a generous giveaway! I’ve never read “Brideshead Revisited” but I love real, paper books! I’m always inspired after reading your posts!
Love personal recommendations for books. And homemade soap. Thanks for having this!
Thank you for the chance to enter your giveaway! I am happy for Spring to arrive!
Oh, Ginny, what a beautiful giveaway! I would love to be entered, but I am also happy to enjoy your fabulous photography!
I realized I put a question mark in my comment after “Lovely set of gifts”. I intended to put and exclamation point. I didn’t want you to think I was somehow questioning the gift choice!!
Thank you for the pretty photos today! I have never read Brideshead Revisited and I would love to own this copy.
Spring is here and ready for planting. Great giveaway and someone is going to be very happy.
Thanks for your inspiration for enjoying the small things in life. We are going to live a much simpler life in the near future and you have been a huge help with my mindset.
Such a lovely set of gifts? Are those hellebores in the pictures? I have never grown them but them beautiful (if that is what they are).
Such a beautiful giveaway, thank you Ginny. I love your spring time photos!
It would be lovely to win. Thanks Ginny!
thank you.
Brideshead Revisited – what an interesting novel! I found myself looking at it from the point of view of the college friend the main character all but destroyed. Of course, that was not Mr. Waugh’s intent with his book! I am no longer a Catholic (think Episcopalian, or “Catholic Lite”) but I truly enjoy the books from the writers of his ilk – converts from the Anglican Church to Catholicism. I am glad you enjoy his writing. Hope all is well with you and yours:)!
What a lovely giveaway! I have always loved your book recommendations, and am in the last chapter of My Antonia—-such a wonderful book! Thank you Ginny!
I always enjoy your photos
What a lovely giveaway!

Thank you for doing the giveaway!! It’s been a pleasure following along your journey ❤️
What a lovely giveaway! Your photos are beautiful, as always.
What a treat!
I need to check if lenten roses will grow in my garden, always so pretty. Thanks for the chance to win.
I just watched Jeremy Irons hosting SNL back in the early nineties – they have all the seasons on Peacock. I can’t see Brideshead Revisited and not think of him!
What beautiful photos! Spring is here on the Oregon coast – so far the blossoming plum trees are my favorite. They smell amazing! we also have seen a few rufous hummingbirds as they migrate north. They’ve been battling our year-round Anna’s hummers for rights to the feeders 🙂
I hope all is well for your family and that you are enjoying this beautiful season!
Your Lenten roses are beautiful! Mine are doing well despite deer nibbling on them this Winter. Thank you so much for the giveaway, the lovely photos and the posts which always make me smile (even the snake ones.) I appreciate having the opportunity to read your words for many years. Peace!
How fun!
I have not read that book yet but would love to!
Also, about seven or eight years ago I bought four skeins of yarn from you: two brownish, one orange/peach/, one light cream/orangish/brown and and a mini skein set of shades of orangish. All this time I have been admiring them but it is time to knit. At the time you were suggesting a shawl. I am thinking a color fade vest. Ideas? Do you have more of the brownish skein?
The posts you share bring me joy and a smile. Thank you for your beautiful photographs and comforting, honest and so often inspiring words. Blessings to you and your family♥️
Your hellebores are beautiful! Thanks for the opportunity.
Your book giveaways are always so lovely and generous and this looks to be no different. What a pretty copy of the book you found!!
I have and enjoy your chrism salve, and would love to win this giveaway!

Happy Spring!
