In the Loft {giveaway}

Today’s giveaway is from Sue, the artist behind In the Loft.  She creates beautiful hand-painted figures, and ours are some of my children’s most beloved things. Advent begins on December 2nd this year, and her figures are perfect to help families with their Advent Journey!  Her Advent runner is another great addition to your Advent traditions.

From Sue:
I’m Sue, owner and artist of In The Loft, a home based business and Etsy shop. I live in a small town in southern New Hampshire and my studio is in a loft above my living room.
My Etsy shop opened in 2013 soon after I attended training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and began making materials for our parish. In those days I was in the midst of homeschooling my last 3 children, and fit in creating and painting in when ever I could. Today, my last child is a senior (my last year of homeschooling after 23 years!) and my days look very different. His help with all the wood cutting is invaluable. I currently paint full time and am excited to say my work is all over the world, in parishes and in homes.

These items are all designed, made and painted here in the wood shop and loft with great attention to quality and detail.
I love that my work helps families to teach & celebrate the faith. With Advent close at hand and Christmas not far behind, you will find beautiful materials for your prayer table, for celebrating the liturgical seasons, for tucking into stockings or giving as gifts.
I hope you find something you love.

My Advent runner, an original design, is a hand painted canvas path to Bethlehem. Sure to be a favorite family tradition, this Table Runner is placed on your dining room table so you can mark the days of Advent together. On the first Sunday of Advent, place the wood disc on the path and move each day at meal time. There are 4 discs, one for each week of advent. The discs are painted with the advent wreath on one side with the correct number of candles lit and on the reverse side the focus of the week. Week 1: hope, week 2: peace, week 3: joy, & week 4 : Love.
Use the reverse side on Christmas Day; painted with white poinsettias and space in the center for your Christmas candle or table decor.
Also included are a large storage bag, and a small storage bag for the discs.

Sue is offering one reader the opportunity to win a $75 gift certificate to her shop. In addition, you can use the code SMALLT10 to receive 10% off your order through Monday, November 12th. For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post. Comments are closed and the winner is Mae, who commented, “Just beautiful!”
