Today’s giveaway is from Stubby Pencil Studio, my longtime favorite place to buy art and school supplies. I have been shopping at Stubby Pencil for nearly ten years! In owner Kate’s words: “Stubby Pencil Studio is a small, family owned and operated boutique offering natural art materials and products that inspire creativity. We stock a unique collection of products that we love for our own children and think you will, too. Find eco-friendly school supplies, craft kits, stationery, classic toys and games, books, party favors and more.”
You can find Stubby Pencil Studio at their original website, and now also on Amazon.com for those who prefer to shop that way.
Today, I’d like to share some of our favorites with you:

I like to make crayon rocks available for my children beyond the age of three (they help them develop their pincer grip) and love all the colors in this set! We also love these chunky triangular colored pencils.
Kate sent my kids some of her new sketchbooks and they love them. They really enjoy each having their own and love the colorful graphics on the covers. We have the Giddy Garden, Playful Planet, and Buzzing Bees. Combined with a set of new crayons or colored pencils, these would make a great gift.
I like to keep a big can of triangular colored pencils available. We’ve been using the same brand for years, and they are the first thing my kids grab when they want to draw. You can get the set of 24 on Amazon, or at the Stubby Pencil website.

This is a very nice set of watercolor paints that my older girls try to keep out of the reach of their younger brothers, but Beatrix’s new favorite is this set of watercolor crayon sticks. The colors glide on soooo smoothly and then can be blended with a bit of water and a paintbrush if you like.

These tempera paint sticks are Silas’ personal favorite, and he was thrilled when his new set arrived. I am really impressed with these beeswax crayons. They contain a higher percentage of beeswax than Stockmar, are made in the USA, and the colors are brilliant.
I hope that my recommendations help you find the perfect artsy holiday gifts! Art supplies are some of my very favorite things to give, and I love teaming up with Stubby Pencil to share them with you!

Stubby Pencil Studio would like to offer one Small Things reader a $50 gift certificate. In addition, you can receive 25% off (!!!) your StubbyPencilStudio.com order through December 5, 2017 with the code GINNY25. (The discount code will not work on orders placed through Amazon.com.)
