Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

I love the shawl I am knitting right now!  I was able to plow through the first lace panel one evening last week and I’ve been knitting garter stitch rows, back and forth, ever since.  Some days I’ve only been able to knit a couple rows, some days not at all this week, but I’m making progress.

I’ve been needing some homeschooling encouragement and found it in The Unhurried Homeschooler.  I am not quite finished reading it, but it is easy to read, not too long, and just what I was looking for.

Ginny, Love the title of that book. I will have to check it out. Though my homeschool teaching days are over, I like to keep my toes in the water.

It is a gift, if you can teach their own children at home, without having to go to jail!
