Homestead Drying Racks {sponsored giveaway}

homestead-drying-racks-1146

This weekend’s giveaway is from Homestead Drying Racks. I have owned their Pioneer wooden drying rack for years, use it nearly every day, and it is still going strong.  It is by far the most well made drying rack I have ever owned!  The owners of Homestead Drying Racks are sharing a bit about their family business here today, and giving away a drying rack as well!

homesteaddryingracks

homestead-drying-racks“We are Mark and Kristy Gunderson, the proud owners of the Homestead Store / Homestead Drying Racks.  We are a homesteading family of 7 who all work together making handcrafted Drying Rack here on our family farm in Oregon. Our online store also carries  a variety of items and homesteading supplies.  We were given the opportunity 2 years ago to become the new owners and have been so incredibly blessed! We truly love this business, the products and the folks we get to interact with on a daily basis.  All 5 of our kids are learning life lessons as we all share a part in this together. Teaching a solid work ethic with integrity and honesty are very important to us and we get to do it doing something we love!”

Mark and Kristy would like to give one Small Things reader a Pioneer drying rack (though if that is too large for you, you could opt for the Peddler instead).  In addition they are offering a 10% discount on drying racks this week using the code DRY10.  Drying racks ship for free!  In addition to their online store, you can find Homestead Drying Racks on Facebook and Instagram.

For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post.  Comments are closed and the winner is Nathana Clay, who commented, “Our drying rack is quite rickety. I would love a great one for drying cloth diapers and other projects!”

    I can picture all our snowy winter gear hanging by the wood stove as we sip some homemade cocoa! And of course it would get used often for laundry, but the crisp cool mornings have me anticipating cozy times indoors. Thanks for always having lovely giveaways!

    I’ve been eyeing their drying racks for some time now! My current rack keeps falling apart, and our rental property’s retractable clothesline is completely broken, so winning this would really make my day! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity, Ginny.

    As I was hanging our laundry (on our old, very well used and loved clothes drying rack) this morning, I was thinking that we need a new one. Perfect timing! Thanks for the chance!!

    I’d love to be entered! We are a family of seven as well and have a lot of laundry! I hang all my clothes but for the littlest things (baby clothes, undies, socks) I use a drying rack. Mine, unfortunately for me, is the chinzy kind from Walmart and has already broken and warped in several places. I was literally *just* asking my MIL where she got the very nice one she has.

    I’d love the chance to win this and it would be well used and well loved!

    I just had a total “Ah ha!” moment looking at the drying rack hanging over the washer and dryer. For the time being, anything we hang to dry drapes over our glass shower doors and I hate it. I’d love to win a drying rack to solve the problem!

    We use dryi g racks not only for drying more “conventional” things, but also homemade pasta. We’ve definitely been disappointed with the quality of the department store ones. They are unsteady and rickety. These look super!

    I love and regularly use my mother’s old (but still serviceable) drying rack…as my kids are growing into adult size though, another rack would be fantastic! We have a clothesline, but recently discovered that that just won’t work with everyone’s seasonal allergies. 🙁 I just love these beautiful wooden racks…heirlooms!
