Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

Yarn Along-0787I started reading again this week, and have made a good start on The Winthrop Woman.  I won’t be able to put it down now, though it’s nearly 600 pages long, so I suspect I’ll still be reading it for weeks.

I finished two knitting projects this week, Antarktis and Strathcona.  I’ll get pictures and share more about those projects soon.  Last night I picked up a Stepping Stones sock that I started weeks ago.  I’m excited to start working on these socks again.  I left this first one right at a heel flap, the beginning of the fun part!

    My dearest Ginny,
You just have a way… with words, pictures, and yarn- but most importantly, in the way you touch souls with a gentle, loving hand and heart. May God bless you and yours always- with health, happiness, and peace. You are so loved!

    Hi Ginny,
I’ve been reading your blog for a while now, but haven’t commented before. I love reading your blog, I find so much inspiration here as a stay at home mum with 5 kids. I also wanted to say congratulations on the birth of your beautiful little girl, she is gorgeous!
