~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~
I’m wondering if I can squeeze in a little bit of plant work before baby comes, and pulled Making More Plants off the shelf this week. It’s a beautiful book and reminds me of my college days, studying plants, working in a nursery. Those were happy times!
I’ve been knitting more than reading, and swatched yesterday for an ambitious laceweight cardigan for myself. We’ll see how far I get on this one. I love the look of the pattern, and I love the yarn, but my stitches look wonky and messy. I’m going to block the swatch today and see what I think!

WOW, that knit you started is ambitious ! I love lace sweaters but I have yet to finish knitting one. Hope you are feeling well, you seem to have much more energy with this little one than your last pregnancy. I’m so glad,
you and your family remain in my prayers. Can’t wait to hear this sweet baby is here!!!!!!

I would love to read that book. I have only propagated one plant but I have been so excited about it. It was from my friends late Mother’s fuchsia tree and I was able to give my friend a plant in a pot from her Mother’s tree. We have taken many cuttings from it over the years and we call it “the parent tree” 😀

I like the look of your book and have added it to my list. My plants in help! With two tropical storms and now heat in the 90’s I am about ready to throw it all in and hope for better weather in the fall. 🙂
