Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! Share your photo on your blog, on Instagram (#yarnalong), or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us!~

I returned home late last night from a trip to New Mexico for my baby brother’s wedding.  I haven’t read a thing over the past week, but I did do a little bit of knitting on the airplane:  a little hat for Job (similar to this one), and a couple of repeats on this shawl (photographed at night in my lap on the plane).

Any shawl called Tess of the d’Urbevilles, has to be gorgeous…can’t wait to see the end result.
Hope you had an awesome time.

I love the Tess shawl. Such an easy squishy shawl to wear. Love that brown yarn too. I’m knitting with two colors right now, “denim” and “chestnut” and I just keeping loving the brown so much. But I suppose its the season. In other news, we went to our local beekeeping meeting last night and learned so much! I thought of you guys…

I’m with Karen about your airplane pic…I, too, forgot about the time change and had to dash out onto the back porch where the light was still good.
