Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

When I took this photo yesterday, I was worried that I was going to run out of yarn.  Thankfully, I finished the second sleeve on Job’s birthday sweater with a little bit of yarn to spare.  I’m not doing much reading on my own this week, but I have been reading The Light Princess to my older kids.  They think it’s hilarious.

Love the sweater. I knit one very similar (in a very similar color) for my son about a year ago. It made me smile.

I like the sample of this book from Amazon! Have you ever read ‘Five Children and It’ by E. Nesbit? I think it’s very funny read aloud to children and a good teaching book for truthfulness.

I love the sweater – adorable for sure! I will have to get that book to read to my children as well. We are always on the look out for good read alouds. Love it when I see one online that another family is enjoying!

I haven’t read that book but it looks really fun. I read I Like Giving this week. It is an amazing, inspiring book. I think you’d like it.

That’s the worst when you run out of yarn midway through a project!

Cute lovely little sweater! I like small projects because I can never tell how much yarn I’m going to need for bigger ones hehe. I’m knitting my first sweater in a very long time, hope I don’t run out of yarn >.<
