LüSa Organics {giveaway}


Today’s giveaway is from my friend Rachel of LüSa Organics. You may know Rachel from her inspiring blog, Clean. LüSa products are in daily use at my house, and I am always so glad to share Rachel’s beautiful company with you all.  LüSa recently launched a new holiday line, and I am already using and loving some of the new products.  When it comes to blending essential oils to create amazing fragrances, Rachel is truly a master.

LüSa Organics is a small producer of organic body care, and is what Rachel and her husband Pete have done for work ever since they took the leap into self-employment more than eight years ago.

In Rachel’s words:

Our little company supports our family and helps support four other families in our community. Countless times during the past eight years Pete and I have looked at each other beaming with fingers crossed and whispered, “The experiment is working!”

LüSa handcrafts products for babies, mamas, and the rest of the family from ingredients you can trust and (yes!) even pronounce.  The name LüSa comes from the names Lupine and Sage, our two children. To us LüSa represents family, love, and trust.

Recently, I launched a new line that I’ve devoted much of the past three months to imagining, testing, and perfecting, a holiday line called Yule.

Creations like fizzing bath truffles made with organic arrowroot and essential oils. An allover body balm in a sturdy – yet biodegradable – paperboard tube. And wooden essential oil diffusers to freshen up your closet or car.

It’s been an unbelievable amount of work, and and inordinate amount of fun. My shower is bursting with prototypes of organic body scrubs and oils and soaps! (Hard life. I know.)

The holiday gift items I ordered for my sister’s birthday arrived a few days ago, and I can’t wait to share her excitement when we get together next week. And I have the added pleasure of smelling them in my bedroom all week before I pass them along. Fortunately, I also ordered a couple of things that will remain here. The clementine and clove Peace diffuser that stays at my house is creating wonderful holiday aromas that inspire Christmas baking and provide comfort from the stressful moments that occasionally try to intrude on my holiday joy.
