Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

DSC_8420 I’ve had a good knitting week!  My Jet Stream shawl is about twenty (long) rows from being finished.  I’m hoping to finish it this week!

I’m almost finished reading Ishmael and have loved it.  This morning, Larkspur and I spent some time pouring through Natural Science Through the Seasons.  It’s really a lovely book.  I bought it over a year ago, but haven’t put it into practice yet.  Maybe this year!

I love the colour you are knitting with. I do wish I had the time to read more, I have limited time and always choose to knit rather than read!

I love the grey of your shawl. It reminds me of coastal fog in the morning.

I love the shawl! The book looks very interesting, I’m going to look into it! I have been a long time reader of your blog, I have made a resolution to myself to start commenting on blogs more! Especially ones that I read regularly and get so much inspiration from. You are on the top of y list for inspiration. Thank you!

Sounds like an interesting book! I’m a middle school science teacher, and I love books that are written with the seasons in mind. I’ve added the book to Goodreads for later (unfortunately my library does not have a copy).

Thanks for sharing what you are reading – I find so many books I want to read through your yarn along posts.

Jet Stream is looking good. I just love the look of grey yarn on the needles. Don’t ask me why – I really don’t know. But it is very soothing.
