Please pray for Sarah (updated)

sarah (photo credit Lori Elizabeth)

Sarah and baby Cecilia passed away last night. Please continue to pray for her family.

One of my best friends is in the hospital on life support.  She was attacked by what we believe were yellow jackets and had an allergic reaction.  Further tests revealed a ruptured aneurysm on her brain.  She is 21 weeks pregnant with her fifth child, a baby girl named Cecilia.  Please join me in praying for Sarah, her husband Eric, and their children, Liam, Annalee, Jude, Faustina, and tiny Cecilia.  Friends and family are saying goodbyes while praying and hoping for a miracle.

I believe that when you slow down and savor the small things, you don’t have to wish for a different life; you can discover beauty in the life you already have. {Find out more here...}

    We are praying for them and will say a Divine Mercy Chaplet during our evening prayers. Is there anything else that they need, like prepared meals?

    Heavenly Father,
    I lift up Sarah to you and pray your Divine mercy on her and her situation. Lord I pray that you would heal her body and restore her fully. I pray for the baby in her womb that by some incredible miracle that baby would survive. Lord I pray your comfort and peace for Sarah’s family. I pray that Sarah’s hospital room would be a room where those who do not know You would sense something special within this room and that something special would be You Lord Jesus. I pray that Sarah and her family would sense Your presence with them. I thank you for all that you are doing in this circumstance. In Jesus name, Amen.

    This is heartbreaking. I believe in miracles and I am praying for one through the intercession of Venerable Fulton Sheen. I invite everyone to join me. He was often known as “Last Resort Sheen”.

    My wife and I will dedicate our Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet for her immediate recovery. Jesus promised St. Faustina that He, personally, will grant any request through the recitation of The Chaplet, if it compatible with His Will. We’re praying it is His Almighty Will.

    Praying here for Sarah, Cecilia and the rest of her family and friends. God has known every one of the days ordained for all of these beautiful children even before one of them has come to be but oh the grief and tragedy is overwhelming in the flood of sorrow and trouble. I am opening facebook far more often than usual to look for updates in hopes of a miraculous healing and intervention from our Father.

    “In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul” – Psalm 94 verse 19.
    Those concerned for Sara must feel very distraught.
    I have always found this verse very uplifting and trust they will experience this.
    I am 88 bereaved without family and God has been precious to me at difficult times. I am praying for Sara.

    I’m so sorry to hear about this. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It’s so comforting to know that God promises to do away with all of this sadness. James 1:13, Revelation 21:4, and Isaiah 25:8 are all very comforting scriptures that may help you at this time.
