Armadillo Dreams {giveaway}

Today’s giveaway is from Armadillo Dreams a sweet handmade toy shop run by Dustin and Amanda Cowell in Redmond, Oregon.  Dustin is here today to share a bit about their business:

“Armadillo Dreams started in late 2010. Since then we have worked hard to become a top toy seller on Etsy where we first sold our toys (and still do). We also established our own website which just recently went through a redesign. Stop on over and let us know what you think of the new look.
Armadillo Dreams makes waldorf inspired handmade wooden toys. We create baby toys, toddler toys and kids toys. Everything we sell is made from natural materials, is friendly for little hands and is handmade with love! We believe it’s important for children to have high quality, natural, simple waldorf toys that they can dream, imagine and play with.”

“We hand draw the designs for our handmade wood toys. We then cut them out of hard maple in our backyard wood shop. Each toy goes through up to five sanding processes to make them super smooth on all sides. Next we wood burn all of the details so they will never fade. At this point we paint some of our wood toys with AP certified non-toxic watercolor, while others are left natural. Lastly, we seal the toys with natural beeswax polish.”

“Our spring toys are now listed in our shop and are selling fast! We are constantly making more, so please check back in a few days if you don’t see the toy listed that you wish to purchase or contact us and request to be added to our waiting list.”

“If you would like to learn more about us or our toys, please visit the “about” page on our website. Be sure to like us on Facebook as well for news, sales and giveaways!”

“We would like to give one lucky Small Things reader our Honey Comes From Bees toy set.   We will ship anywhere in the world and cover the shipping cost.  In addition we would like to offer 10% off on any of our toys through the end of March. You can use the coupon code “SMALLTHINGS” during checkout on either our Etsy shop or on our website.”

For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post.  One comment per person, please.   Comments are closed and the winner is Katie P. who wrote, “Gorgeous toys my little ones would love!”

Thanks, Armadillo Dreams!
