Ginny, Congratulations to you and your family! My largest baby was 10 lbs. 2 oz., delivered naturally, and it was the hardest night of my entire life, so I know right where you are at this moment. Praying for God’s peace to be with you now and in those emotional moments to come.

I’ve been checking your site– also excited for your baby news! Congratulations! I empathize with you as I had my sixth baby in June at home- weighing 11 even. His size was hidden until birth- we were so surprised with his weight. Those shoulders took more work to push out than my other babes. He is such a sweet stoic boy! Praying your recovery will be w/out complication and your family’s adjustment smooth and grace filled.

O Hooray! I am so happy for you I am grinning!! I was wondering on checking in if this might have happened.
I am reminded too of this verse: “A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world”. Although for me it takes a while to forget that pain and maybe for you too, but oh the joy. So happy for all of you – he looks gorgeous!
Good grief, I can only imagine what you went through with a 10 pounder. Will continue to pray that you and your lovely new little one grow stronger by the day! Congratulations!
