Our Baby

DSC_8514

Sebastian Job Amadeus

Born November 5th, 2013

10 lbs. 4 oz.

Baby and I had a rough go of it, but we are both doing well.

I have few words right now, but wish to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.  They were needed and will always be treasured by me.

Love,

I can imagine that this was a difficult birth considering his size, but he looks well worth it and is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations.

Hope you and baby continue to do well. Such a sweet, sweet picture-love the socks! He was born on our daughters birthday-45 years ago–the years went by much too fast. Rest, recover, knit, read, and snuggle with who ever needs a snuggle.

Blessings and congratulations to your whole, beautiful family! I am also a mommy of two big babies and one tough delivery, but one good thing? They tend to sleep through the night without feeding from their first day. I hope that he’ll do the same for you. Prayers for healing and love to you.

Remember remember the Fifth of November…
I thought it would have been a cool day to have had a baby but my daughter ended up coming 11/11/11 so that’s pretty neat too. She was also quite large… but only in the nine pound range. Uff da! All my others were just 6 pounders… enough of me… Congratulations Ginny and family! What a happy day for you all!

i was a 10.5 lber, we really do feel sorry about that. we try to make up for it later, i swear. 🙂
he is gorgeous! and i am so glad he is here and you both are safe and healthy! now you have a baby to model all of that baby knitting. and SEE! you knew you didn’t need itty bitty hats! my daughter was a 9.5 lber and was in 3-6 month clothes by 2.5 weeks old. deep down your knitting needles knew you needn’t waste time on newborn or 0-3 month, straight to 3-6 month for your little guy in no time!
