Armadillo Dreams {giveaway!}

logo(1)

Today’s giveaway is from Armadillo Dreams!

Armadillo Dreams is a husband/wife business run by Dustin and Amanda Cowell.  We own a home in Redmond, Oregon where we raise our family, run our business, raise backyard chickens and enjoy gardening. You can learn more about us, our family, and our activities by visiting our blog Wild Armadillos.

beesArmadillo Dreams makes waldorf inspired high quality handmade wooden toys. We have handmade wood toys for kids of all ages including baby toys, toddler toys and kids toys.  All of the handmade waldorf toys we sell are made from natural organic materials, friendly for little hands and handcrafted with love! We believe it’s important for children’s toys to be handmade toys that they can dream, imagine and play with.

Some exciting Armadillo Dreams news!

Starting at the beginning of August 2013 we decided to change everything in the shop to being “ready to ship” vs. our old “made to order.”  This offers the major advantage to our customers that all of the toys shown in our shop at any given time are all in stock and ready to be shipped out in 1-2 business days vs. our previous 7-10 business day processing time.  There were times in the past (especially around the holidays) when our made to order times would be up to 12-14 days.  We decided after doing that for two years that we would rather only show toys that are ready to go and offer our customers much faster shipping times.  This does mean that our entire 200+ toy line up won’t be available at all times due to popular items selling out.  When toys sell out we will be working hard to get them back in stock soon.  We will also be working over the coming weeks and months to get more toys in stock in general.  At this moment there are about 50-75 toys in stock, but we will be working to get that back up to the 200 line up.  We will also be posting to our Facebook page when toys are restocked or when new toys come out, so be sure to “like” our Facebook page. That way you can get them before they are sold out!

Another exciting bit of news is that we are preparing to release our 2013 Christmas line up in September.  We are currently planning 14 toys/sets for the Christmas line.  It will be made “ready to ship”, so there will be limited quantities this year.  We will be announcing Christmas toy availability on the Armadillo Dreams Facebook page in September, so keep an eye out!

For today’s giveaway we are offering one Small Things reader the above pictured rainbow dragon. We ship anywhere in the world.

For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post.  And because I really don’t want you to miss out on Armadillo Dreams restocking news, especially if you are hoping to purchase one of their beautiful new Nativity sets, you can receive a second chance to win by “liking” their Armadillo Dreams Facebook Page.  Just come back here and leave a second comment letting me know that you have done so.

Comments are closed, and the winner is Melissa L.  “A great giveaway opportunity! The Christmas line looks like it will be great. Thanks for the chance to win!”

edited to add:  Dustin is offering 10% off purchases made through September 6th with the coupon code “ginny.”  It is good in both the main Armadillo Dreams shop, and also their Etsy shop.

Thank you, Armadillo Dreams!
