More from the garden (or Beatrix shucks corn and it’s funny)

The corn isn’t really supposed to be picked for another couple of weeks.Β  I am afraid they will have already eaten it all by then!

ADORABLE! Beatrix should be the lead character in a children’s book series! She is so much fun! πŸ™‚

Wow. Bea might need to be in a shucking zone when she does this.
It looked like Silas might get an elbow (or cob) at any second.

Haha!! Beatrix reminds me so much of my Lyddie – SO expressive all the time! We are still waiting on our corn to get a little bigger but get fresh ripe corn at the nearby produce stand and boil it for just a TINY bit in boiling water most of the time, but I could eat it raw too! YUM!

Thanks for this…my 5 year old is laughing uncontrollably. She loves looking at your blog everyday to see what the girls are doing. She talks about them like she knows them, it’s really cute!

Haha she is too funny! I have to agree with Beatrix-shucking corn is pretty funny. WAY more fun than pea shucking!

Another few weeks?! Your garden is going to be empty by then!! πŸ™‚

This is precious. My 2 year old LOVES any kind of corn. It is her absolute favorite food. I loved watching kids eat corn on the cob. Thanks for this funny moment!

My how they are growing! I have a recipe for fresh corn salad and its so yummy. I had no idea you could eat it raw before this summer! I guess you are never too old to learn something new. Have a beautiful weekend.
