Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

I’m reading from several books right now:  The Queen Must Die, Broadsides from the Other Orders, and Robbing the Bees.  I think that I will probably be setting aside the first two to focus on Robbing the Bees though, because I am really loving it so far.

Over the weekend, I started knitting Larkspur’s Sunday Sweater for next fall and winter in the pink yarn that she chose.  I’m a little nervous about the degree of variegation in this colorway, but hopefully it will turn out allright.  So far, I think it looks pretty.

Below is a linky list if you’d like to link up and join the Yarn Along.
(1) Make sure the link you submit is to the URL of your blog post or your specific Flickr photo and not your main blog URL or Flickr Photostream. Please be sure and link to your current Yarn Along post, and not a Yarn Along post from a previous week.
(2) Include a link back to this post in your blog post or on your flickr photo page so that others who may want to join the Yarn Along can find us!
(3) If you have any trouble linking up, just email me and I will help you!
You can also join the Flickr Yarn Along group to share your knitting and reading photos anytime!

My past week has been predominated by the Grandprix or Eurovision Song Contest as it is called nowadays. I’ve watched the semi-finals and the big show with friends who threw a Grandprix party. It’s been great and also hilarious! And it’s not that important who wins. This year it’s been “Shakira and the piping smurf” as we dubbed them…But to more important things: I have finished the first glove (I’ve even sewn in the ends as I went) and have started the second. I hope it won’t take me long to finish them. I have read 848 pages of the 976 that “A Feast for Crows” is having and cycled about 50 km. And most importantly *drumroll* I have finally published the pattern for my Leaves Top! This post is part of Tami’s Amis WiP Wednesday and Ginny’s Yarn Along. […]
