Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

Yarn Along

My little baby cardigan is a bit messy right now.  I am very close to finishing (and actually, will most likely be finished with it by the time this post goes up in the morning!)  I started worrying about running out of yarn, so I have my second sleeve going from the inside of what’s left of my yarn, and the edge is going from the outside of the ball.  I think everything is going to work out.  What a sweet little knit this is!  I also finished the shawl that I’ve been working on for the past month or so and the good news is that the friend that I knit it for loves it, and she’s not allergic to wool!

I started reading Gaia’s Garden this week.  I am very, very excited about this book and am eager to learn more ways to incorporate more ecologically sound gardening practices on our little homestead.  Surely the answer to our ten year battle with wiregrass is somewhere in these pages….

(2) Include a link back to this post in your blog post or on your flickr photo page so that others who may want to join the Yarn Along can find us!
(3) If you have any trouble linking up, just email me and I will help you!
You can also join the Flickr Yarn Along group to share your knitting and reading photos anytime!

    Hi Ginny,
I feel like I’m crashing your party as I don’t refer to myself as being a knitter as I only know 2 stitches so I just knit “square’ish shaped things”!
But I am in need of some knitting needle knowledge so I thought someone here might be able to educate me on this HUGE wrap of needles that I have just been given!
    Many thanks for your help!
    xoxo
