Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

Yarn Along

Not much knitting or reading this week.  I did finish A Girl of the Limberlost, but I haven’t been motivated to pick up any more fiction.  I am slowly reading Walking with God as a companion to the Bible Study that I am working through over the next year or so. It’s a great book, and was written to stand alone.
I am at that point on my shawl where it doesn’t seem to be changing size.  It’s like the rows just get eaten up as I knit them.  That’s okay.  It’s just the sort of knitting I need right now.

How about all of you…any progress out there?

Below is a linky list if you’d like to link up and join the Yarn Along.
(1) Make sure the link you submit is to the URL of your blog post or your specific Flickr photo and not your main blog URL or Flickr Photostream. Please be sure and link to your current Yarn Along post, and not a Yarn Along post from a previous week.
(2) Include a link back to this post in your blog post or on your flickr photo page so that others who may want to join the Yarn Along can find us!
(3) If you have any trouble linking up, just email me and I will help you!
You can also join the Flickr Yarn Along group to share your knitting and reading photos anytime!

I just love your beautiful photos that go along with the Yarn Along. I don’t knit…yet. But I absolutely love to crochet. Excited to have found your site for the first time!

Hi! This is my first time linking to the Yarn Along – but I’ve loved this blog for sometime. I have only been blogging a year, but I’m learning a lot. Check me out at

Question: Do you all see pictures or just links that you can click on for more?

I love it when I have a project that I can just sit and knit away the rows without having to stress too much about messing it up. I take those projects with me in the car and sneak in stitches at really long stoplights 🙂

Ok, so I realize this has nothing to do with knitting but when I saw it I had to share it with you.

I am not currently knitting or crocheting right now. But in my blog I speak briefly about a beautiful memoir that is a must read, http://almaboheme.blogspot.com/
In the picture shown are some market bag I crocheted.
I am in need of a new project, hope to be dusting off my needles soon.
