I haven’t cast on any more of the projects that I have ready to go. I’ve just been working back and forth on my Oaklet shawl (I am two rows away from the beginning of the lace) and have knit a few rounds on Circumnavigate. Circumnavigate is a really fun pattern! The repeats are easy to remember as I go and I am loving it so far.
I only have a few pages left in Merry Hall and I am trying to decide if I want to move on to the next book
Next up he wants to read about honeybee removal

I love your Oaklet, but tonight I’d like to say thank you for bringing to my attention a while ago (with that beautiful photo of Beatrice) Imogen tee/Immie Tee/Immie blanket. I love these patterns, I am knitting the tee for myself and I finished this week the blanket for church. Lovely!

I love the look of the oaklet shawl. Does anyone have an opinion on whether this would work in a bulkier yarn (if I modified the pattern and cast on fewer stitches)? It’s everything I want in a shawl, only the yarn weight is wrong for what I have!
My fingers are itching to make a shawl. My knitting/crochet to-do list just gets longer and longer, especially after perusing all the lovely things displayed on yarn along. Thats definitely a good thing though, inspiration never gets old!
Nice colors, I’ve been itching to get my own bees. I’ve always been fascinated by them. Hopefully I’ll get mine next Spring.
Currently I’ve been working on a lot of amigurumi projects. The past few days I’ve been working on an adorable bunny, and some cute monsters. 🙂

The shawl looks so pretty. I might have to try out this pattern next. My husband has become fascinated with beekeeping recently. We don’t live somewhere yet that will support beekeeping but it’s definitely something to put on our “future farm” to do list.
