Birthdays are for saying, “thank you.”

I’m thankful for thirty four years.

p.s.  Images are just random ones from today.  I decided that our house is too crowded to host a Christmas tree all the way until Epiphany, so we moved it into the garden.  No one minded, and it will be fun to add more treats for the birds in the coming week.

Happy Birthday! Love your photos! I like the idea of moving the tree outside! I may do that too, its mighty crunchy right now and making a big mess!

Your blog has inspired me to start a blog of my own! I, too, have a big busy family and deeply enjoy seeing what yours is up to. I wondered if someone might like seeing what we are up to… I put down my camera years ago and since discovering your blog have picked it up, dusted it off, realized how much I’ve forgotten, and even taken a few good shots. My blog is still an itty bitty baby, but it’s up and I’m excited. Happy New Year & Thank You! ~ Corey

    Dear Ginny,
I just wanted to tell you how much I love your blog. I visit for Yarn Along of course and I am so glad that you host this every week. When I need an idea for a new book to read I sit with pencil and paper at hand so I can jot down titles. I get such inspiration looking at all the pictures. I frequently “blog hop” and I wish you all could live in my town and we could all go out for tea. It is good to know that there are kindred spirits out in the world and I feel blessed to be able to live vicariously through you all. I too have adopted and for the last 2 years home schooled a child. In my case a (now) 13 year old girl. I love each and every one of your posts and seldom miss any. I wish you a very happy new year and I pray for you and your family often. Thank you for all you do!
    Debi
