Christmas 2011

Hello?  How are all of you?  I am mostly moved in here.  (I’ll talk more about that later. )

For now, I just wanted to say hello and to wish you a Merry Christmas.

Ours has felt very peaceful and quiet.  Of course actual silence is mostly non existent at our house, but still, things feel quiet.  Quiet and happy.

(If you don’t mind, I’d love a quick hello from you this week, just so I know you’ve all made the move with me.)

I believe that when you slow down and savor the small things, you don’t have to wish for a different life; you can discover beauty in the life you already have. {Find out more here...}

    You come in on my blogger feed and I would not have noticed – don't notice any difference. Love the family photos. Beautiful to see a dad in them; so often with wonderful Catholic family hschooling blogs – the dad is never pictured. (I am sure he is working to support the family, but the homes end up looking so feminized in image/activities and in decor)

    Lovely photos of your beautiful children. I especially love Silas with his head reclining…..I managed to erase my photos of James dressed up like shepherd for Gospel dramatization AND photos in church AND him saying prayer in Italian to be sent to grandparents in Italy AND opening of the presents….But we had a nice Christmas, the three of us(how different from the family thing in Italy) and we exchanged presents and James got his Sharpie set from Santa, and thank you for Savers and Church Christmas fair for the nice board games(we did buy him useful presents like jacket, pajamas and robe…..). Our last Monopoly Junior lasted an hour! James gave me a cross he was very proud of from Church children market….a plastic one, rather unbearable. I guess I have to keep it on display until he'll be old enough to understand or rather forever…..

    Found it, but I really wish you hadn't gone to a partial feed. I VERY VERY VERY rarely click over to sites (time constraints mostly), and generally just unsubscribe, but I wanted to let you know why first! I'll try and still stop by every now and again (the new site is lovely!)
