Every now and then I find it necessary to stop whatever it is we are doing (or trying to do) and take my little girls outdoors for a quick walk just to see what’s blooming. Even on the days when I look around and see mostly weeds (keeping up our property fell to the bottom of the priority list these past couple of years), my girls on the other hand see an abundance of flowers. When we get back indoors I gather a collection of vessels and my little girls can spend some time arranging their flowers, and maybe I can snatch a few minutes to do whatever it was I was trying to do in the first place, assuming I remember what that was.
