Yarn Along
~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~
After taking this photo, I actually finished up that second sleeve and connected the two to the body. Hopefully I will have this Camilla Babe finished in the next week. All that garter stitch in the round has not been fun. I think of knitting in the round as a way to avoid purling, so knitting this has felt a little counter intuitive. It was also nearly impossible not to have terrible laddering on the sleeves so I ended up ordering 12 inch circular needles and that took care of that problem.
I have been spending my nursing time either reading aloud to my children or knitting lately, but did read Paul’s letter to the Philippians last night. I am trying to get myself on an earlier bedtime schedule, which is really tough. I do so love to spend these late night hours knitting or reading!
Below is a linky list if you’d like to add a link to your own Yarn Along photo.
(**And those of you posting crochet projects, don’t forget to add the word “crochet” next to your name to make yourself easier for other crocheters to find! )
