We are definitely living on newborn time these days. I am doing little other than caring for my family and staring at Silas, and that is just how things should be. I have only knit a few more rows on his baby surprise jacket, so haven’t quite finished it. I did finish the body of Beatrix’s Camille, and started one of the sleeves. It will all get finished eventually.
Last week, I emailed my friend and fellow bookworm Laura for book recommendations. She sent me a list, but noted that A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is her favorite. So, that is what I am reading now, and I definitely recommend it too!
