No Bea! These aren’t your birthday candles!
This happened several times.
Sunday after Mass, we came home to begin our Advent preparations. Seth and Keats made our Advent wreath this year from corkscrew willow branches and then Keats, Larkspur, and Beatrix wove holly, cedar, and ivy into the wreath. For our Advent candles, each of the older four kids made a simple rolled beeswax candle using a kit I purchased from Sunflower Candles. Even Larkspur was able to make one, although hers is a bit lumpy! We used the same branch candle holders as last year (very similar post there!) I have to be sure and remember to put the candles up high during the day or they will all end up broken by the end of Advent, as that is exactly what happened last year!
Correction. Keats, as usual, looks silly in that last picture 😆
