Oh, man, Ginny. I'm so sorry. That happened to me a few years ago, right as I was starting grad school, and I needed a ton of those papers and research and pictures. I managed to get it back, but then 18 months later, the hard drive on my computer just died. Completely. I lost everything and now we back up every day to a remote external drive.Everyone told me, "you only learn once" – and they were right, but it SUCKS. SO SO SO SO badly.I'm so sorry.
