Born today

On our grandmother’s birthday:
Peyton Isabella Faith
7 lbs. 7 oz.
18 inches long
(so tiny!)
My baby sister Angie had her first daughter today. While I do have two nieces waiting in Liberia, itsy bitsy adorable Peyton is my first niece to be born into my immediate family (can you believe that? Abby has four boys, Sarah has two, and Angie has one, add to that my four and that’s a bunch of little boys!) I am pretty darn excited that Angie and I have something new to share (raising little girls) and I am in love with Peyton’s head full of dark hair. I can still remember the first time I saw Angie in the nursery at the hospital with her own little head of dark hair. She was born on my sixth birthday; what a birthday gift! And now here she is with two children of her own. I hate that I am experiencing this all through photos. Angie lives 600 miles away. Hopefully we will be hitting the road next month though. Angie, I can’t wait to hold that baby!
