“Would it be too terrible if I walked a little closer? I’ll be careful to walk between the rows of soybean plants.”

(The last two photos are cropped/enlarged. I didn’t get close enough to disturb the deer, but it did let me come within about 8 feet of it. And, sweet dearest is actually something I do call any one of my kids)
