I really wish…

…my house was clean and my kids were asleep.

Annie, I think I must have been inspired on some level by your post. Reading yours made me start to cry; I got really caught up in it. I completely understood where you were coming from, especially the part about wishing you could relax for a minute without thinking about what you should be getting done.

Oh! So, you show me up! I just put a picture of what I WANT….you are brave and bold enough to show reality! :)Actually – I'm thinking – what a beautiful kitchen! What a charming porch! What an enormous bedroom! (Or, is that one end of your great room – I can't remember….) Anyway – spacious and nice!OK – a little messy, but it will come together!

Relax and just breathe a little. It's not the end of the world but I certainly can sympathize.Marj

Yes well don't we all. But the things your children will remember when they are grown are not that mom was the best housekeeper ever but that my mom was always there for us no matter what. She loved to hang with us and play with us and she always had time to stop and listen no matter what it was that she was doing. Those are the things that they will remember and treasure about their mom.Christina
