A Vintage Poster {giveaway}

AVintagePoster2
Today’s giveaway is from Sara of A Vintage Poster.   Her shop is full of fun posters that would brighten any space.  I got a little carried away looking at all the different prints.  There are over 75 designs currently available, including customizable marriage and birth announcements. Each print is available in three sizes (8″ x 10″, 11″ x 14″, and 18″ x 24″) and twenty-five colors.  If you don’t find what you are looking for in the shop, Sara will create a custom poster for you!  Examples of custom prints can be seen in the gallery.  I think a custom print with Elizabeth Zimmermann’s famous quote, “Knit on, with confidence and hope, through all crises” would be perfect!  You can find answers to frequently asked questions here.”  You can find A Vintage Poster on Instagram, and Sara is there too!

SaraHarding-FamilyI asked Sara to share with you all a little about herself and how her shop evolved:

“I had the idea for some of these posters in 2010, during the summer between my sophomore/junior year in college getting by Design BFA. I was looking for a side project and tired of seeing all the sad, plain walls in the apartments of the student housing complex where we lived. I wanted the prints to be simple, but happy and colorful so they would be fun to decorate with. I showed the first couple of prints to my dad, who tried to let me down gently because he didn’t think it would go anywhere and he didn’t want to see my disappointed 🙂 I’m so glad he was wrong, because I love creating these prints. It’s a great creative outlet, and it lets me stay home with my 8 month old baby boy. But the best part is designing custom prints for people and getting to hear the stories behind them – some of them are really funny.”
