Lavender’s Blue Homeschool {giveaway}

Curriculum Covers Banner
This weekend’s giveaway is from Kelly at Lavender’s Blue Homeschool.  You can learn more about Kelly and her family here, and follow along on Facebook here.  I am pleased to have Kelly share a bit about her homeschooling curriculum here with you!

My goal for Lavender’s Blue Homeschool is to support parents as they create a peaceful and connected family life.  I write about peaceful parenting, magical childhood, and holistic homeschooling on the blog, where I also enjoy sharing favorite songs to sing and stories to tell.

Most of us have more opportunity to create peace in the world through our parenting than through any other means.  And homeschooling provides a powerful balance point in a world which is increasingly disconnected, rushed, overstimulated, and out of sync with the needs of children.  I think homeschooling parents are amazing.  They’re taking on a big job with love and gusto and I think they deserve tremendous support!

I’m excited to offer a Waldorf-inspired kindergarten curriculum for parents who want to inspire their children’s learning through play, nature, art, song, and story.  My goal was to create a complete and beautifully integrated curriculum that helps parents feel confident, competent, and truly supported without having to pull everything together themselves.

    I just heard about the Lavender’s Blue curriculum for the first time last week. I love the handwork that isn’t so stereotypical preschool-crafty that Waldorf promotes.

    Your curriculum sounds great Kelly. I’m currently going to Rainbow Bridge classes at a local Waldorf school once a week with my son Bracken (who just turned three.) We’re really enjoying it. We plan on homeschooling and I think a Waldorf twist might be a good fit for our homeschooling.
    Thanks for the giveaway!
